The Post Recreation Center
While there are a variety of activities and things to do near Union Park at Norterra, the jewel of Union Park is The Post, the community’s 5,800 square foot private recreation center set against the Union Peak Sonoran Preserve backdrop. This community hub features a pool with cabanas, a children’s play pool, community park, event lawns, playground, outdoor barbecue area, basketball and pickleball courts.
Reflecting the warmth and design of a historical farmhouse, The Post features an open floor plan with a great room, catering kitchen and event/conference room accented by timber columns, trusses, decorative steel, barn doors, outdoor shutters and a covered porch.
Resort-Styled Pool
Union Park’s resort-style pool is 90 x 30 ft and is surrounded by covered cabanas, palm trees and lush landscaping, an outdoor BBQ, and a kids play pool area. For residents who are looking to connect with neighbors at Union Park at Norterra, a visit to this pool is a must!

Our pickleball courts are the perfect outdoor setting to actively enjoy a fun time with friends and family. A full basketball court is also available for a challenging game with neighbors!

Legacy Park – Legacy Park features a large plaza, covered ramada with picnic tables and a grand staircase that opens to an expansive turf area for a wide variety of recreation activities and community events.
Liberty Park – Designed as an ‘urban plaza’, Liberty Park features two identical open areas that are linked together with dual plazas and picnic tables, Tivoli lights, and a sport court with two basketball hoops.
Honor Park – Honor Park serves as an active play area for residents, and features an iconic play structure and swing set. A lush landscape area celebrates the native desert and provide shade for passive play or relaxation.
